INCREASE IN LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE BRIGHTON AREA

D-14 Brighton, Massachusetts: Over the last several months distict D-14 has seen an increase in larceny from motor vehicles. People continue to leave their doors unlocked and this allows easy access for suspects to enter and steal property from motor vehicles. GPS systems should be removed from vehicles and not left on the dashboard or under the seats. Criminals know that people leave them under the seats. If anyone notices anyone looking into cars they should call 911 with a description of the suspect.
