215 residents from Jamaica Plain MA came to the Community Organizing Event at the MilkyWay in JP to meet their neighbors, organize and empower themselves. Joseph Porcelli from the Neighborhood Crime Watch Unit (also the founder and organizer of Neighbors for Neighbors, JP the group that hosted the Community Organizing Event) Judi Wright, Director of the Neighborhood Crime Watch Unit; and Melissa, a resident in JP speaking about a recent mugging on Paul Gore street encouraging her neighbors to participate in the Whistle Alert Program.
