Sacred Heart of Jesus Statue Stolen in Roxbury Officers assigned to District 2 responded to the St. Francis Monastery located at 785 Parker Street on a report of a larceny on Sunday morning at 10:00am. On arrival the officer spoke with the victim who stated that sometime between 7:30pm on Saturday night and 9:00am on Sunday morning, unknown suspects stole the statue, which stood outside that address. The victim also reported that the statue of St. Francis that stands on the side of the church was damaged. Police urge anyone with information about this incident to contact them at Area B-2 Detectives 617-343-4275. | |
