The National Crime Prevention Council publishes a blog called Prevention Works and has a website.
On their website you'll find information about campaigns such as Cyberbulling, Preventing Senior Fraud, Identity Theft, and Internet Safety. On their blog you can read about posts such as: "Heads Up: A Theft and a Scam Worth Noting" about the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) notifying tens of thousands of Americans that their Social Security numbers had been posted on a public website since 1996; and "Prevent Bullying; Prevent Crime" about bullying as a devastating form of abuse that can have long-term effects on youthful victims. The National Crime Prevention Council website can be found at: http://www.ncpc.org/. Prevention Works, A blog by the National Crime Prevention Council is found at: http://ncpc.typepad.com/.
